Routine Appointments

Please note you are able to book appointments up to 4 weeks in advance with the Doctor. If you have a planned review, or if you need to be seen but it is not urgent, please use this facility and pre-book appointments.

For routine appointments please try to telephone after 10:30.  Routine appointments are 10 mintues long, if you feel you will require longer then please ask for a double appointment.

You can book nurse appointments up to 3 months in advance.

Triage Appointments

We offer same day TRIAGE appointments with a member of our clinical team but these may not be with the Doctor or Nurse of your choice. These are for problems that need to be dealt with that day.

A doctor will telephone you in these triage appointments and discuss your problem over the phone and if necessary ask you to attend the surgery to see the most appropriate member of the team  in an appointment slot which is set aside for these calls. These appointments are only for urgent conditions and we ask if you have further non-urgent issues that need dealt with, please book a further routine appointment to address these.

We advise patients to ring the practice as early as possible after 8.00am if they wish to make a triage appointment for the same day.

Telephone Consultationstelephone_brown

We also offer telephone consultations if you cannot get into the surgery or you do not require a face to face consultation.

The receptionist will ask you for a contact telephone number and the Doctor will call you back to discuss your problem.

If the doctor subsequently feels that it would be in your best interests to come in to surgery an appointment will be made at that time.
